Our product is patented worldwide. Nevertheless, our product is illegally built by foreign suppliers and offered mainly via Internet.

We want to show the difference from our original product to the various plagiarism/ copycats. Below, we’ve collected some facts that you should be aware:

How can I detect fake Hallufix® Bunion Aid Splints

There are online vendors who advertise with the name of Hallufix or specify Hallufix as manufacturer and use some pictures of Hallufix.

Clearly a “No” if it’s not our Hallufix website, a website of our partner DJO Global or of a sanitary shop.

Following characteristics indicate a plagiarism / copycat:

  • The splint was sent without packaging and / or delivered without instructions for use
  • There is no batch number, no date of manufacture
  • There is no delivery sheet / and or invoice
  • In the attached documentation, or on the product itself no evidence of the manufacturer can be found
  • The supplied splint does not look like the one shown on the website of Hallufix
  • The painful bunion can be corrected within a short period of time
  • The splint can be worn in tight shoes or all kind of shoes

These promises are unrealistic and unsustainable
